We are a consumer-centric entity with a primary purpose to live by and promote our Charter which states that any signatories or bearers of the GOB Platform will relentlessly pursue institutionalization of best practices byway awareness, information and regulatory affairs practices that are unerringly aimed at un-compromised protection for communities and consumers.
For regulatory affairs nature, the application of benchmarks for the protection of communities and consumers is of utterly importance, and arriving to a definition, a benchmark is something that serves as a standard by which others may be measured or judged. A standard is something established by authority, custom or general consent as a model or example; something set up and established by authority as a rule for the measure of quantity, weight, extent, value or quality.
The basis for signatories and bearers attest their unerringly consumer-centric commitment through benchmarks that are based on regulations through the application of ISO/IEC 17020, TS 22003, ISO/IEC 27006, ISO/IEC 17024, ISO Guide 65, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189 so that they attest and may provide certification in accordance with:
- Quality Management System such as ISO 9001
- Environmental Management System such as ISO 14001
- Quality Management System for Medical Devices including ISO 13485
- Quality Healthcare Management System based QMS 9001-15189
- Food Safe Management System including ISO 22000
- Food Safe Management System HACCP (Spanish “APPCC”)
- Information Security Management System such as ISO/IEC 27001
- OHSAS, Occupational Health & Safety Management System such as OHSAS and 29 CFR 1910
- Social Responsibility and Social Accountability, based Management System Practices applying guidance ISO 26000
- Product Marking applying ISO 65 and national equivalents
